Literary Perspectives

Fri 22 May, 3.30pm–5pm

Developed for VCE Literature teachers, this Professional Learning program focuses on visual approaches to Literary Perspectives. Analysis of texts and literary criticism can be daunting for students. Visual texts – works of art and design – offer an accessible method for engaging VCE Literature students with reading, analysing and comparing texts through different lenses. This program models how art and design can build critical analysis and language skills, and explore intertextuality and dialogism. Presented by the NGV in conjunction with VATE.
