How do artists capture movement in a still painting, such as the flickering light on the ocean surface or clouds floating across the sky? Discover the French Impressionists’ approach to painting including their innovative use of colour and bold brush strokes. This virtual program includes guided discussion and explorative drawing activities which introduce techniques to express ideas, senses and emotions.
This program will be facilitated by an NGV Educator and is suitable for students working at Levels A-D in the Victorian Curriculum.
